In conjunction with the inaugural launch of The Miele Guide, The Miele Guide At-Sunrice culinary scholarships will be awarded to two deserving young talents from Asia through The Miele Guide Culinary Scholarship Programme. This programme aims to promote formal culinary education and to encourage excellence and continual achievement in the Asian culinary field.
One will be awarded to a citizen or permanent resident of one of the following countries - Brunei, Cambodia, China (including Hong Kong and Macau), India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The other will be awarded to a citizen or permanent resident of Singapore.
The Miele Guide Culinary Scholarship Programme is jointly sponsored by Miele, At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy (At-Sunrice) and supported by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) this year. Applications for the two scholarships are now closed.
Organised and administered by Ate Media, The Miele Guide Culinary Scholarship Programme is jointly sponsored by At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy (At-Sunrice) and supported by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). The results will be revealed at the official launch of The Miele Guide 2009/10 edition on 2 October 2009. The scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to attend courses at the renowned Singaporean educational institution—At-Sunrice.
