Two deserving young Asian talents attained a kick start to their culinary aspirations last night. At-Sunrice Unveils New WSQ Integrated FB Campus
Singapore, 19 April 2011 At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy celebrates its 10-year anniversary with an icing on its birthday cake - a brand new campus on 28 Tai Seng Street.
The academy, which is recently crowned the Culinary Institute of the Year at the Asian Gastronomic Award of Excellence, now occupies 42000 square feet- an area three times the capacity of its old campus at Fort Canning Centre. Read more...

Singapore, 16 April 2011 At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy is today crowned the Electrolux Culinary Institute of the year at the inaugural Asian Gastronomic Award of Excellence (AGAOE) 2011.
Held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, the AGAOE, which takes place in conjunction with the World Gourmet Summit, acknowledges individuals and organisations for their significant contributions to the development of the food and beverage (F&B) industry.
The award underscores At-Sunrice’s commitment to nurture culinary talents and contribution to the Singapore F&B industry. The Miele Guide awards two young Asian talents with the 2010/2011 culinary scholarships
The Miele Guide Culinary Scholarship Programme enters its third year of nurturing Asian culinary talents with joint sponsorship from Miele, At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy and Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
Continuing its dedication to developing the culinary scene in Asia, The Miele Guide Culinary Scholarship programme accorded two budding Asian chef talents the well-deserved opportunity to take their passion for cuisine to the next level. Under the auspices of The Miele Guide Culinary Scholarship Programme 2010/2011, Filipino Roberto Antonio III Abello was awarded the Miele At-Sunrice scholarship while Singaporean Shaun Lee received the Miele-WSQ-At-Sunrice scholarship. The latter is a scheme created under the Singapore Workforce Development Agency’s Workforce Skills Qualifications Framework. Amidst a select crowd of some of the region’s most celebrated chefs and restaurateurs alongside regional and international food critics and journalists, the recipients were revealed and introduced at The Miele Guide 2010/2011 gala dinner.
