  Welcome to the GlobalChef Academy. I started working in my grandfather’s kitchen when I was 16. Being a third generation chef from Alsace, I was fortunate to have worked in various countries like Monaco, America, Korea and Japan before finally arriving in Singapore at the age of 28. It has become my personal mission to cultivate the global chef career path for our students.

As Singapore’s premier culinary academy, we champion a rigorous yet pragmatic Study and Work curriculum with Eastern and Western kitchen internships. Our graduates are comfortable wherever they are hired around the world. It’s a great gift and a distinct advantage for our graduate placement partners.

We benchmarked how culinary arts education is delivered in Europe, America, Australia, China and India. Our pedagogy combines the perfection of the craft with the creative spirit of the arts, and sealed it with the demand of discipline and professionalism at best fit apprenticeship sites.  

It is a challenging journey because it requires not only passion, but also a level of maturity and tenacity to become a successful global chef.

These are exciting times for the food industry and the chef profession; seeing our graduate placements culminating globally truly brings who we are and what we do full circle. The culture of food and cuisine – its history, traditions, philosophy and integrity – will evermore be an inheritance that the culinary profession can be proud of.
