Chef Instructor (Western/Asian)
We require a Chef Instructor - specialized in either Western or Asian cuisines. This position delivery of culinary education, participation in competition, execution of creative culinary events, consultation of food manufacturers and food service providers.
Job Scope:
- Teach and conduct professional culinary courses
- Supervise and execute the day to day operations of academy kitchen
- Prepare curriculum and lesson plan for professional culinary courses
- Participation in student discipline, monitoring and reporting
- Provide counselling and guidance when students may require
- Any other special projects or special events as assigned by the management
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree holder in culinary arts or related fields
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
- Competence in delivering education in English
- Creative and able to develop recipes
- Positive attitude and result oriented
- Good sense of humour and play
- Won medals in international culinary competitions will be an advantage
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office System, primarily MS Word and MS PowerPoint
